New Jersey Wind Symphony Flutes is predominantly made up of the flute section of the NJWS. They perform a versatile repertoire and are often asked to arrange pieces for specific occasions throughout the Northern New Jersey Region. They recently commissioned a consortium project with composer Brett L. Wery. The musicians are assigned a different part for each piece, rotating and switching between all instruments in the flute family. They perform at every Flute Academy recital and are extremely supportive of all students at the Academy. The ensemble includes: Chrysten Angderson, Kristin Bacchiocchi-Stewart, Patricia Barlow, Lisandra Hernandez, Annette Lieb, Joe Mariany, David Stedge and Tomomi Takamoto.
